About the role

  • We are seeking a skilled and reliable Amada Press Brake Set-Up/Operator to join our fabrication team.
  • This position is responsible for the set-up, operation, and basic maintenance of Amada press brake machines to produce precision sheet metal parts in accordance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain setup sheets and update job documentation as needed.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and notify supervisor of mechanical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all company safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Company-sponsored social events and team-building activities.
  • State-of-the-art equipment and tools to support your work.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience operating and setting up Amada or similar CNC press brakes (e.g., RG, HFE, HD NT, or HRB series).
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.

Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of sheet metal.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and gauges.
  • Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine controls is a plus.

Compensation

  • $27.41 - $36.50 per hour

  • Salary: $27.41 - $36.50 per hour
