About the role
- Veterinary Technician Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
- Schedule: Enjoy a four-day work week with shifts from 7:20 AM to 5:45 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Northgate Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
- Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
Requirements
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
- Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification.
- Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
