About the role
- AutoRoboto is seeking a Mechatronic/Robotics Engineer or Systems Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mountain View, California.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop calibration equipment, robotic fixtures, and automation systems for factory production lines.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to integrate calibration hardware seamlessly into existing workflows.
- Develop software applications and control systems to automate camera calibration processes on the production line.
- Create user interfaces and tools for factory operators to facilitate efficient calibration.
- Optimize software for performance and reliability in a high-throughput environment.
- Integrate hardware and software components to create cohesive calibration systems.
- Establish and document calibration procedures for use in manufacturing settings.
- Conduct testing to validate the effectiveness of calibration equipment and software.
- Implement corrective actions to mitigate future issues.
- Maintain records of calibration results and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Hands-on experience in hardware design and development for manufacturing environments.
- Willingness to work on-site full-time in Mountain View, California.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of industrial robotics, control systems, and PLC programming.
- Familiarity with AR/VR devices and related technologies.
- Experience with integrating hardware and software solutions in a factory setting.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and process guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree preferred, especially with an applied thesis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Bash.
- Familiarity with factory automation, robotics, and production line processes.
Compensation
- $110k-$140k
