About the role

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking a Waterjet/Bandsaw Technician to join our team!
As a company, we provide a wide range of leading-edge engineering, management, and digital services to the public and private sectors.
This person is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC waterjet cutting systems and industrial bandsaws to produce high-quality parts from various materials (metals, plastics, composites).

They will assist with the operation of equipment, tooling maintenance, and will ensure that all required processes are completed to produce parts.
Must be able to obtain a clearance through the DoD security background investigation process
Must be a US Citizen
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient in basic shop math and understanding of tolerances.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a manufacturing environment.
Reliability: Strong attendance record and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
Must be a team player, able to multitask and prioritize accordingly
Basic PC knowledge (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a government driver's license
High School diploma required, College degree not required but beneficial
Past or present military personal are encouraged to apply
