About the role

Our client is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer/AI Engineer to join their team!
The individual should ensure that information is converted into a format that is digestible and easy for end users to access the information and utilize it optimally.
We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
Strong proficiency in Python
Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
Knowledge of agentic systems and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Experience with enterprise AI applications and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

Monitors and fine tunes applications system to achieve optimum performance levels and works with hardware teams to resolve issues with hardware and software
Uses models, hypotheses, and cognitive analysis techniques to elicit real problem-solving knowledge from the experts
Mediates between the expert and knowledge base
encodes for the knowledge base
Researches and prepares reports and studies on various aspects of knowledge acquisition, modeling, management, and presentation
Acts to improve the overall reliability of systems and to increase efficiency

Acts as subject matter expert for difficult or complex application problems requiring interpretation of AI tools and principles
Understanding of vector databases and data pipelines

The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $87.00.
Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate.
Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
We comply with local wage minimums.
