About the role
- Headquartered in Nashville, TN - one of the fastest-growing and most exciting cities in the United States - August Bioservices is a privately-owned, high-growth, and high-impact Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO).
- This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and scalability of the Company's financial operations as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities
- Collaborative team player who can partner cross-functionally with operations, HR, and leadership
- Our work is instrumental in helping to develop molecules today that can become the life-changing therapies of tomorrow.
- To support our growth plans, August is investing significant capital in a two-phase expansion project - including building a new state-of-the-art facility adjacent to our current facility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience independently owning a monthly close process
- Experience serving as a primary liaison with external auditors
- Strong proficiency in U.S. GAAP
- Experience with ERP or accounting software platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools and business intelligence platforms
- Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis methodologies
- High degree of ownership and accountability
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Advanced coursework or certification in internal controls preferred
