Responsibilities
- Drive with and reverse dollies, 28' trailers and 53' trailers (extensive training will be provided).
Requirements
- Ability to lift and push up to 70-lbs.
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Availability to work Monday to Friday
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment and staying longer than the usual shift hours depending on the operational needs and package shipment volume
- Able to assist with extra weekend work occasionally.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Guaranteed wage progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement with top rate above $30.00¹ per hour upon completion of wage progression
- Health and dental benefits after 12 months of employment (commences on the first day of the month after meeting the requirement)

Nice to have
- Exposed to changing/extreme temperatures while working in a warehouse environment and/or trailer yard/outdoors.
- Working in loud environments.

- We are currently looking for Part-Time Yard Shifters for our Vancouver Hub Operations (near YVR).
- UPS Yard Shifters performs the coupling and uncoupling of tractor trailers.
- They move and maneuver tractor trailer equipment into position for the tractor trailer and package handling operations.
- This part-time position will include other work as directed.
- Selected candidates will be trained for this position.
