- Job Description The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for an Assistant Director of Utilities Services in the Facilities Services Department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical (HVACR), building automation, electrical, and plumbing system preventative maintenance and repairs
- Develop and oversee budgets
- Create, monitor, and maintain project performance metrics
- Develop maintenance execution processes to improve performance
- Plan, manage, and implement special projects as assigned
- Provide support and assume responsibility in the event of an absence or vacancy on management team
- Drive a focus on goal achievement throughout business decision-making

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field from a regionally accredited institution and five (5) years of related professional work experience
- OR Master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years of related professional work experience.
- Related Experience: Progressively responsible managerial experience in facilities maintenance, operations, or related field to include supervision.

- Schedule and Travel Requirements
- The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
