About the role
- About this opportunity The School Instructor is responsible for training students to produce the highest quality safe drivers.
- The School Instructor works with students both in the classroom and on the road, teaching them to operate a vehicle safely on the driving range as well as on public roads, and to learn the skills necessary to pass the state CDL exam.
- Pay and Schedule This position is Monday - Friday, day shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver classroom, equipment, range, and road instruction.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom and on the range by enforcing rules and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Be able to perform duties of over-the-road, basic skills and classroom instruction as assigned.
Requirements
- CDL A (Required)
- Prepare reports and records accurately and completely as required by laws, policies, and school regulations.
- Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment skills test
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensure as required by applicable state regulations.
Compensation
- The pay range is $55,000 - $65,000/year dependent on experience.
