About the role
- The test analyzes 385 genes associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD), providing valuable insights for patient care and management.
Responsibilities
- Drive Behavior & Habit Change: Educate and influence clinicians to shift their diagnostic habits, integrating advanced genetic testing into their standard protocols for chronic kidney disease (CKD) management.
- Build & Leverage Strategic Relationships: Cultivate lasting, high-trust partnerships with nephrologists, transplant specialists, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the territory.
- Natera takes cyber crimes seriously, and will collaborate with law enforcement authorities to prosecute any related cyber crimes.
Requirements
- Demonstrates a hunter mentality focused on territory growth, combined with the relationship-building depth required to change entrenched clinical habits.

- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educational background.
- Target Network: Pre-existing relationships within the Nephrology space are highly advantageous.
- Institutional Knowledge: Proven track record navigating large academic medical systems and major regional networks
- direct experience working with or selling into UNC Health, Duke Health, and Wake Forest Baptist Health is highly preferred.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 35% within the Greensboro-to-Durham corridor to effectively manage accounts.
- Strategic Problem Solver: Employs a creative, independent approach to navigating complex institutional buying processes and overcoming clinical objections.
- Elite Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to effectively deliver complex technical data to specialized medical teams.
- Dynamic Execution: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments with strong self-motivation, initiative, and excellent time management.

- The total compensation package features a competitive base salary, an uncapped annual commission paid quarterly, a generous car allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

- A minimum of 6 years of progressive sales experience, ideally within the diagnostic, genetics, or lab-developed test (LDT) industry.

Compensation
- The total compensation package features a competitive base salary, an uncapped annual commission paid quarterly, a generous car allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
- The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
- On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals.
- It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.
- $180,000 - $200,000 USD
