About the role
- Job Description: The Media Planner is the daily focal point to the account and will report to a Senior Associate or Manager.
- You will steward the tactical communications planning process and provide mid-level recommendations to the senior media team and client.
- Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain media plans, flowcharts, buying guidelines, testing plans and results analysis, budget summaries, plan delivery and reports
- Support Communications Planning Supervisor in the collection and evaluation of syndicated consumer and media usage information
- Support ACPD/CPS as a facilitating contact point for client's internal media staff and the primary contact point to client's brand staff when media issues are discussed
- Manage daily client interaction
- Participate and lead, if appropriate, face-to-face client and vendor meetings
- Build relationships with internal and external teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 0-2 years of integrated media planning experience and familiarity with the media process
- 0-2 years of experience with analytical and online research tools such as Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance, etc.
- Interest and familiarity with Media planning
