About the role
- Job Description Harborview Medical Center - Central Processing has an outstanding opportunity for a Sterile Processing Technician 2 (Hospital Central Services Technician 2).
- The CPU is tasked with standardizing and consolidating the processes used to ensure the highest levels of sterility and cleanliness are being met for our patients.
- HMC is owned by King County and managed by the University of Washington (UW) and serves as a training site for UW's School of Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Inventory shelves of processed items; rotate trays and products; manage expiration dates
- Scan, document, and label for inspection, testing, and assembly
- Support Harborview's Surgical Services / Operating Rooms by decontaminating, processing, sterilizing, and assembling complex surgical instrument arrangements

Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent AND one to two years of experience processing complex trays of surgical instruments and equipment
- Disclosure is required under Washington state law.

Compensation
