Responsibilities
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings of equipment on the plant and perform work according to such drawings and specifications.
- Perform other related duties as directed, including indoor and fieldwork.
- Ability to read prints and schematics of CNC equipment. Understand the functionality of CNC equipment for making adjustments to maintain accuracy of equipment and also to be able to communicate with factory service personnel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Essential reading skills required.
- Ability to work all 3 shifts.
- Candidates must have mechanical ability and exhibit skills to perform above duties.
- 5 years' experience in mechanical work installing & repairing complex machines & mechanical equipment such as lathes, mills, CNC machines, etc.
- Approved rigging training and at least 2 years rigging experience is required.
- Tech School graduate in Millwright Field and 3 years hands on experience OR a minimum of 3 years' experience as a journeyman millwright OR equivalent experience required.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
