About the role
- Constructs "go-arounds" on blue, black, and double black diamond trails to provide low-risk alternatives.
- Ensures safety during equipment operation and conducts regular equipment inspections. - Monitors the bike park for hazards, including downed trees, erosion, and damaged signage.
- Coordinates with the bike park and patrol teams on trail closures, repairs, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains trails to professional standards, ensuring stability, sustainability, and appropriate trail ratings.
- Manages water drainage to minimize erosion and enhance trail sustainability.
- Performs manual labor and operates heavy equipment like excavators, skid steers, ATVs, and chainsaws.
- 2 years previous trail building and maintenance experience, preferably in a bike park environment
- 2 years experience operating a variety of heavy equipment in a trail building capacity

Requirements

- Assists with other bike park operations and events as required.
Nice to have
- Must be an Downhill Mountain Biker and have the ability to ride all levels of trails in the Bike Park
- Well versed in all aspects of cross-country biking to meet demands of growing sport

Skills
- 2 years previous heavy equipment, chainsaws and power tools experience.
