About the role
- Are you an experienced Municipal Engineer looking to progress your career?
- This role can be hybrid (part time remote from home and part time in the office) in our Saint John, NB office.
- We also have openings in our Fredericton and Moncton offices.
Responsibilities

- Storm water modelling and management civil design.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Acting in support of other GEMTEC offices when needed to complete projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in civil engineering practice with a preference for municipal engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 (or newer version)
- Experience with ArchGIS and/or QGIS software platforms would be considered an asset, as would experience with hydraulic modeling software suites
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a commitment to quality
- Currently registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGNB
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle for work related travel
Compensation
- Salary range of $70,000 - $99,000 per year
