- Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience 3 years' experience in the application of power conversion products and systems, which may include post-graduate studies Demonstrated engineering experience in the renewable energy industry Demonstrated experience with power systems analysis/modeling (PSCAD, PSEE, PSLF) Demonstrated experience creating and presenting technical papers to industry groups, trade shows, clients, or academia Demonstrated technical leadership skills Demonstrated presentation skills Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility Proficiency in MS Office, software programming, and simulation tools Availability to travel domestically, approximately 20%, and internationally, approximately 10%, often with limited notice Preferred Qualifications - Master of science or Doctorate degree in electrical engineering - 7 years' experience in the application of power conversion products and systems - 5 years' experience in power systems analysis/modeling - Demonstrated experience facilitating the preparation of bankability reports required in the renewable energy industry -
