About the role

  • As the Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for the daily, weekly and outage planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
  • You will be an integral part of a best-in-class maintenance program working with site leadership on priorities and coordinating contractors planning processes through accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.
  • This is an on-site role located in Arthur, IA.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with other POET Bioprocessing resources and contractors as needed to develop accurate work order plans and minimize issues due to planning problems
  • Perform Outage planning and scheduling year around
  • Own completion of weekly schedule one week in advance lead weekly meeting to complete/communicate the 1-week work schedule.
  • Maintain and advance the food safety and quality of POET's products and processes to deliver a best-in-class culture of quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in maintenance and enterprise asset management [EAM] systems
  • Interpersonal skills. ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within/outside the organization
  • Ability to embrace and promote change
  • Ability to think objectively
  • You have the ability to understand technical and day to day operation of a bioprocessing facility.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience in maintenance and enterprise asset management [EAM] systems; IBM Maximo, E-Business Suite, UpKeep, SAP ERP Suite, IFS Cloud, Flix, Ramco Enterprise, Maintenance Connection, or similar.
  • You have the ability to achieve and maintain forklift certification.
  • High level of personal integrity
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Innovative mindset
  • Communicate effectively in writing and in person.
  • Self-awareness in the face of uncertainty

Nice to have

  • Uptime Elements Maintenance Reliability Certification or equivalent certification is also a plus.
