About the role
- As the Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for the daily, weekly and outage planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
- You will be an integral part of a best-in-class maintenance program working with site leadership on priorities and coordinating contractors planning processes through accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.
- This is an on-site role located in Arthur, IA.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other POET Bioprocessing resources and contractors as needed to develop accurate work order plans and minimize issues due to planning problems
- Perform Outage planning and scheduling year around
- Own completion of weekly schedule one week in advance lead weekly meeting to complete/communicate the 1-week work schedule.
- Maintain and advance the food safety and quality of POET's products and processes to deliver a best-in-class culture of quality.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in maintenance and enterprise asset management [EAM] systems
- Interpersonal skills. ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within/outside the organization
- Ability to embrace and promote change
- Ability to think objectively
- You have the ability to understand technical and day to day operation of a bioprocessing facility.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in maintenance and enterprise asset management [EAM] systems; IBM Maximo, E-Business Suite, UpKeep, SAP ERP Suite, IFS Cloud, Flix, Ramco Enterprise, Maintenance Connection, or similar.
- You have the ability to achieve and maintain forklift certification.
- High level of personal integrity

- Communicate effectively in writing and in person.
- Self-awareness in the face of uncertainty
Nice to have
- Uptime Elements Maintenance Reliability Certification or equivalent certification is also a plus.
