About the role
- As a Custodian with Concordia College Building Services, you'll help provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors who live, learn, and work on campus.
- This position performs routine cleaning and basic building support responsibilities across assigned campus spaces.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, which may include classrooms, offices, restrooms, residence hall rooms, apartments, and other public spaces.
- Perform routine custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, floor care, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, and removing trash and recycling.
- Maintain supplies and assist with basic building needs, including changing light bulbs and reporting maintenance or work-order needs.
- Assist with other campus and building support needs such as snow and ice removal at entrances, exterior litter removal, furniture moves, and event setup and teardown.
- Are dependable, attentive to detail, and able to manage your time and priorities effectively.
