About the role

  • Under general supervision, utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and theoretical/clinical skills in the promotion/maintenance of health.
  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care.
  • Directs the plan of care while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to execute a plan of care appropriate to the needs of the patients.
  • Maintains appropriate skill/knowledge and application of relevant and commonly used equipment specific to area, pharmacology and laboratory values based on disease process or physiological status.
  • Billings Clinic may help support the cost through financial assistance.

Requirements

  • Employees that require a licensed or certification must be properly licensed/certified and the licensure/certification must be in good standing.

Nice to have

  • Two (2) years Med Surg experience required if no previous experience in Recovery Room or Critical Care ACLS certification required PALS preferred or to obtained within one year of employment Certifications and Licensures

  • Minimum Qualifications Education
