About the role
- Assists in the repair, training, and tracking of on-site equipment, vehicles and machinery.
- Fulfills daily assignments and duties of the auto shop.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and implements the most cost-effective means of accomplishing goals.
- Performs periodic inspections of equipment.

- Possesses the skills and knowledge to repair Forest Home vehicles, equipment and machinery
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills for fixing maintenance issues
- Responsible for keeping inventory and tools organized and in good condition.
- Provides and receives training to advance the auto shop's skill set with vehicles and equipment.
- Operates and trains others to operate equipment and tools in a safe manner.
- Operate different tools and equipment such as golf carts, company vehicles, heavy equipment, forklifts, etc. in a safe manner.
