About the role

  • The Maintenance Tech position is responsible for Industrial and Technical Maintenance.
  • Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards.
  • Take an active role in caring for the equipment to prevent breakdowns and defects and help increase overall equipment efficiency through 5S, TPM (total productive maintenance), and other Lean Manufacturing initiatives directed by the Sedalia site.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a scheduled maintenance program for the Maintenance Department.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of formal Industrial or Technical Maintenance experience or Formal Tech School in Industrial Maintenance.
  • Experience with writing and performing preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Must be able to work from prints and schematics.
  • Minor equipment modifications are also required of all equipment.
