About the role
- Adhere to correct policy and procedures in carrying out routine tasks.
- Collects and processes patient specimens for testing in adherence with laboratory protocols.
- Prepare samples/specimens for producing accurate and reliable results by following collection procedure.
Responsibilities
- Performs pre-analytical processes including registration, and ordering
- Performs clerical functions including but not limited to telephone communication, report generation and faxing
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience with demonstrated ability to perform detailed clerical work.
- Required Experience:
Nice to have
- Formal phlebotomy training required.
- ASCP, NHA or AMT certification preferred.

- Previous experience working as a Phlebotomist in a medical setting preferred.
