- Sanimax is looking to hire a First Shift Production Supervisor in our South St.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a highly trained and motivated work force
- Ensure that the fleet, processing facilities, and building and grounds are maintained in a manner which meets all company and government safety and environmental requirements
- Drives operational performance through initiative, coaching, training, delegation and accountability in addressing opportunities and problems.
- Looks for and implements improvement opportunities.
- Takes responsibility for own personal growth and development.
- Fosters open and consistent communication with own work team and other work groups including but not limited to Production Planner and support Team, Transportation, Procurement and Finished Goods Sales Team.
- Coaches and develops employees through constructive feedback and facilitation of professional growth
Requirements
- Previous experience in managing and supervising a production team in a manufacturing and continuous process environment
- In coordination with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections get completed as required
Nice to have
- Preferred Technical or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
Compensation
- Base salary range of $75,000 to $94,000 (based off experience).
- Generate an annual operations budget for all production labor
Benefits
- Bonus potential up to10%.
- Competitive benefits to include a 401k match up to 5%
- 3% quarterly bonus
- Ensure that safety initiatives and programs as directed by the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator are being carried out
