About the role

  • Salary: $41,714.00 - $77,500.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type.
  • Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.
  • Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates marketing activities and sales material to support client / prospect conversations.
  • Develops an overall understanding of assigned client's investment strategy to best serve the customer.
  • Develops an understanding of the Bank's investment strategy and philosophy and communicates this to clients and prospects.
  • Provides general investment support to assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of financial markets, portfolio management theory, and relevant regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of investment process and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of proprietary products and services in order to identify potential products and services to client needs and advise members of the team.

  • Independently resolves client complaints in a timely and effective manner; escalates as required.
  • Typically between 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant investment industry licensing for the designated jurisdiction / portfolio.
  • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
  • Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.
  • Influence skills - In-depth.
