About the role

This position is also responsible for the cleanliness of the general plant area, with an emphasis in the hand-add area.
Stage and organize ingredients for mixing operators as indicated on mixing sheets.
Ensure that storage bins and containers for ingredients are always labeled.

Overview This is an entry-level position responsible for the hand-add operation and providing back-up support to other roles.
Operate forklifts to support production.
Functionally cross-trained in other support roles.
Clear documentation of batch records to maintain traceability.
Perform general clean-up inside/outside hand-add and finished product area.
Perform repetitive tasks (e.g. grasping objects, fine manipulation, push/pull, assemble objects, etc) with both hands.
Provide back-up support for other roles as necessary.
Perform critical thinking and troubleshoot.
Occasionally perform overhead lifting of objects weighing up to and including 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

Qualifications A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Vision sufficient to safely perform the specific essential jobs tasks outlined.
