About the role

- Employees use existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems in financial areas of specialization.
Requirements
- Years of prior equivalent work related experience in lieu of a degree is N/A unless grandfathered in and requires CFO Staff approval.
- Previous internship/co-op experience with Duke Energy.
- Please note that in order to be considered for this position, you must possess all of the basic/required qualifications.
- This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Proficient using Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Ability to possess and apply fundamental accounting and finance concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Masters in Accounting or MBA
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- GPA of 3.5 highly desired.
- Previous relevant internship or co-op experience desired
- Demonstrates leadership through on-campus or extracurricular activities.
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
