About the role
- We're currently hiring for open positions in the US and Canada.
- We operate in Canada as Engineered Lifting Systems and Equipment (ELS)/DBA Gorbel® Canada, and subsequent communication related to Canadian positions may show the ELS name.
- You may be contacted by phone by recruitment personnel based in either Canada or New York.
Responsibilities
- Directs target market activities: this includes the identification of high potential markets/applications, ways to improve lead generation in our existing channels, new channel opportunities, and OEM opportunities
- Identify and develop tools that allow us to effective in competitive situations
- International Market Research: leading the effort to identify high potential international markets, research and recommend market entry and penetration strategies, competitive research, and developing a marketing plan for high potential markets
- Sales support tool development: responsible for effectiveness of marketing collateral, web content, and programs that support the sale of our products
- Understands the customer journey from awareness to post-sale and develops assets to accelerate the process
- Travels with sales and customer support teams to understand the requirements of the customer at both the user and dealer levels.
- Supports development of dealer training content
- Leadership/development of others/team building
- responsible for effectiveness of marketing collateral, web content, and programs that support the sale of our products
Requirements
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in product or market management
- Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)
- proven negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills. ability to work with all levels within outside the organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint also required
- Travel requirement: 20 -25% required
- Has the ability to lead overall projects as required.
Nice to have
- College degree required, MBA preferred
- Proficiency with HubSpot and Microsoft Copilot preferred
