About the role
- We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep back-end expertise to help shape the architecture of our next-generation energy market platform.
- This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership across settlement processing, bid submission, market workflows, and platform APIs.
- The majority of development is back-end focused, with front-end work serving as a secondary responsibility.

- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on technical direction.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in C#/.NET.
- Experience designing distributed systems and APIs.
- Deep SQL Server expertise.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript.
- Minimum Qualifications
Nice to have
- Experience with energy markets, settlements, or trading platforms.
- Experience modernizing enterprise applications.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures.
- Experience incorporating AI-assisted development into engineering workflows.

Skills
- Design architecture for scalable platform services.
- Lead implementation of back-end systems in C#/.NET.
- Define API and service design patterns.
- Guide database architecture and performance optimization.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews and technical coaching.
- Contribute to JavaScript front-end development when appropriate.
- Drive engineering best practices, testing, and operational excellence.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering velocity and quality.
Compensation
- In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Yes Energy's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
- This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
- $135,000 - $160,000
