About the role
- Job Description: This position entails working night shifts from 6 pm to 6 am on a 5-5-4 rotation (5 days on, 5 days off, 4 days on, 5 days off).
- Regulate the data center environment to adhere to specific standards for temperature, humidity, and pressure.
- Oversee outside service providers working within the critical environment, and report any hazardous materials, unsafe work
Responsibilities
- Maintain data center equipment and identify improvements for optimal operational efficiency.
- Perform hands-on operation and maintenance of data center equipment and systems, encompassing mechanical, electrical, building automation, control systems, emergency generators, and fire/life safety.
- Monitor, manage, and maintain the uninterruptable power source (UPS), batteries, and generators to guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Conduct regular data center inspection rounds to collect readings, maintain logs, and document equipment-related information.
