About the role
- Overview HealthPro Heritage is excited to offer a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity in Fllorence, SC!
- Join our compassionate therapy team where you'll play a key role in supporting residents' independence, engagement, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
- Track and document patient progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with facility policies, and report changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
- Therapeutic Activities & Support:
- Lead or assist patients with exercises, activities of daily living, and other therapeutic tasks, while creating a positive and supportive environment to encourage patient engagement.
- Work alongside an experienced and supportive therapy team to deliver meaningful, individualized treatment plans that help seniors achieve their highest level of functional potential.
- Progress Monitoring & Documentation: Track and document patient progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with facility policies, and report changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
- Therapeutic Activities & Support: Lead or assist patients with exercises, activities of daily living, and other therapeutic tasks, while creating a positive and supportive environment to encourage patient engagement.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school.
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
