- Mackin is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors and Inspector Supervisors (TCI/TCIS) for roadway and bridge construction projects in the Pittsburgh area. Positions are available for multiple experience levels, from entry-level inspectors to senior inspectors and supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Perform roadway and bridge construction inspections per plans, specifications, and contracts
- Prepare daily reports and maintain construction documentation

- Inspect grading, excavation, drainage, asphalt, concrete, structures, traffic control, and signage
- Monitor contractor progress and ensure quality, safety, and compliance
- Conduct field measurements, testing, and material sampling
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, and project teams
- Supervise and mentor inspectors (supervisory levels)
