About the role

- You will assist in discovering vulnerabilities and risks in networks, software systems and Cloud infrastructure with ongoing vulnerability scans, monitoring network data, and ensuring hardware and software applications are patched and remediated.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in the systems design and mission architecture.
- Support setup, monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting of employee devices/accounts.
- Perform system maintenance, installation configuration, and support certification and accreditation activities.
- Support operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
- Administer user accounts, perform server configuration, and network management.
- Conduct testing to identify vulnerabilities and collaborate with cybersecurity team members to update defensive protocols when necessary.
- Help lead employee training to prevent phishing and other forms of cyberattack.
- TeamWorx Security is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist or System's Administrator to support enterprise Information systems.
- Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in cybersecurity and/or system administration.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in each of the following:
- Experience maintaining documentation of security guidelines, procedures, standards, and controls.
- US citizenship is required.
- Experience in each of the following: System backup/restore procedures and security practices
- Have 180 days of military service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active service.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Possession of excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
