About the role

Our Pipeline Facilities Operator take pride in supporting our Suncor Energy USA Pipelines team by safely operating and maintaining the equipment to ensure optimum reliability and availability of our assets.
This position is located at our Pipelines facility in Fort Lupton, Colorado.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, filters, pumps, gas compressors, storage tanks, and pump station equipment in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain all certifications for Operator Qualifications, Safety and other regulatory requirements

3 years of field experience with Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for pipeline operations and maintenance
Demonstrated technical knowledge and hands-on experience with communication and control systems, digital and analog circuitry, pumps, motors, valves, and medium-voltage equipment
Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.A.
Performs safety checks and inspections and reports incidents and follows up as required
Minimum Requirements:

$80,000 - $100,000
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Annual incentive bonus program with a 20% target, 401(k) plan with up to a 6% vested match, pre-tax, Roth, and post-tax options, an automatic 1.5% profit sharing contribution, and Suncor-funded cash balance defined benefit pension plan (vests in 3 years)
