About the role
- This position works under general supervision.
- Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembles parts together as shown on the prints without direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Uses and sets-up machines, such as arbor presses, stripping machines, crimping machines, torques wrenches/drivers, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
- Performs peer/in-process inspection in accordance with company policies.
- Able to perform soldering functions (example: solders cables, wires, and terminals)
- Performs tasks and duties with minimal to zero supervision.
- Documents print problems and interacts with the proper people to implement changes
Requirements
- Must be able to lift frequently 25 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to dexterously manipulate a variety of sizes of parts repeatedly.
- Ability to operate industry standard hand tools.
- Must be able to follow instructions both written and verbal.
Nice to have
- High school degree or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), plus two years of related experience.
Skills
- Requires a basic understanding of blue print reading and the Material Inspection and Disposition (MID)/Work in Process (WIP) Database.
Compensation
- The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
