  • B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or a closely related field, where the degree must be complete before a candidate's starting date.
  • Experience in a laboratory environment.

Skills

  • Excellent computer and laboratory skills
  • Knowledge of chemical hygiene plans, biohazard safety, and waste disposal
  • Experience working in a teaching laboratory setting
  • Proficiency with a variety of instrumentation
  • Experience with electronics laboratory equipment
  • Knowledge of current OSHA and EPA regulations
  • This position requires a background check, which may include a level II screening as required by the Florida Statute §435.04
  • This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations

Compensation

  • TARGET HIRING SALARY: $23.22 hr - $24.52 (48,300 - 51,000), commensurate with experience.
