Requirements
- B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or a closely related field, where the degree must be complete before a candidate's starting date.
- Experience in a laboratory environment.

- Prior experience in a scientific laboratory setting.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES KSAs:
Skills
- Excellent computer and laboratory skills
- Knowledge of chemical hygiene plans, biohazard safety, and waste disposal
- Experience working in a teaching laboratory setting
- Proficiency with a variety of instrumentation
- Experience with electronics laboratory equipment
- Knowledge of current OSHA and EPA regulations
- This position requires a background check, which may include a level II screening as required by the Florida Statute §435.04
- This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations
Compensation
- TARGET HIRING SALARY: $23.22 hr - $24.52 (48,300 - 51,000), commensurate with experience.
