About the role
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join Rula's Provider Services team, where we provide the tools necessary to bring health providers and patients together.
Responsibilities
- Expert understanding of application architecture, API design patterns, data modeling, security, performance, and scaling.
- In this role, you will design and build scalable, reliable backend systems critical to the day-to-day operations at Rula, third party integrations and telehealth functions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable work experience.
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, ensuring you can meet both professional and personal commitments (must be based in United States, currently not hiring in Hawaii)

- Experience at growth-stage companies, migrating legacy systems to microservices, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience with AWS or equivalent platforms.
