- Training Work includes three to six months on-the-job training (orientation) for full familiarity with surgeon's preferences and department policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Work requires knowledge of basic sciences, such as anatomy and physiology, microbiology, etc., asepsis and sterile techniques and operating room techniques.
Nice to have
- Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology (required, unless being hired into a Labor and Delivery unit in Ohio then preferred)
