Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of project-specific Quality Control programs across all divisions of work
  • Develop, implement, and manage Quality Control Plans, inspection checklists, testing requirements, and Definable Features of Work (DFOWs)
  • Identify quality concerns early and partner with project teams to drive timely resolution
  • Manage quality documentation including inspections, testing reports, RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, punch lists, and closeout documentation
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to support schedule, constructability, and issue resolution
  • Support and mentor project teams in execution of quality control processes and documentation
  • At times, provide supplemental support in functions typically aligned with project superintendent or project management responsibilities
  • Ability to prepare and manage project-specific Quality Control Plans and associated inspection and testing documentation

  • As a Quality Control Manager (QCM), you will lead implementation and execution of a comprehensive project-specific quality control program from notice of award through final completion.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of combined construction experience in roles such as Quality Control Manager, Project Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager
  • At least 4 years of dedicated experience serving in a Quality Control role on complex construction projects
  • Experience supporting projects of similar size and type, including projects valued at $20 million or greater
  • Experience on federal or government projects governed by United States Army Corps of Engineers and/or Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command quality control standards
  • Experience administering Definable Features of Work (DFOW) and the Three-Phase Quality Control process
  • Working knowledge of United States Army Corps of Engineers safety requirements and federal compliance protocols
  • Ability to obtain, or current possession of, United States Army Corps of Engineers Quality Control Management Certification

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • QCM certification
  • Experience coordinating commissioning, turnover, and owner acceptance processes

Compensation

  • $120,000 - $165,000 USD
  • Background Check & Pre-Employment Screening
  • All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

  • All screening is conducted in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable state and local laws.
  • Candidates will be asked to provide written consent prior to any screening.
