About the role

- Job Description: Role Summary: The Insurance AR Supervisor works under the direct supervision of the Insurance AR Manager and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and staff of the Collections team.
- This position is responsible for monitoring A/R, overseeing day to day activities, maintaining assignment of payers and identifying patterns and global issues.
Responsibilities
- Assess workflow and develop strategy to complete all necessary work prioritizing tasks as necessary.
- Manage employee relations issues appropriately as they arise and escalate to manager as necessary.
- We are looking for talented and highly-motivated individuals who demonstrate a natural desire to improve and build new processes that support the meaningful work of independent physicians and the patients they serve.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for reporting findings to management.
- Manage employee activity such as interviews, job performance, quarterly performance reviews and disciplinary actions with appropriate approvals as required.
Nice to have
- Basic understanding of oncology practice management preferred, in-depth understanding of insurance.
- Essential Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to apply good judgment.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of Windows-based software applications. (E.g.: Word, Excel, Outlook…)
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Attendance is an essential job function.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance coverage guidelines.
- Knowledge of clinic office procedures, medical practice and medical terminology.
