About the role
- The Driver Technician is responsible for the safe operation of a DOT-regulated vehicle to transport materials and equipment between locations.
- This position requires strong problem-solving skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while interfacing directly with customers across multiple sites and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment and promote a strong safety culture
- Protect and maintain company equipment and property
- Ability to obtain and maintain company driving privileges
Requirements
- Ability to obtain required customer clearances (e.g., TWIC, DISA)
- Ability to obtain a valid passport and travel across borders if needed
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, diesel, or related systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile technology
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Must be able to travel overnight as needed

- 0-2 years of technical experience (1+ year preferred)
Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this position is $26 to $29 an hour.
