Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted legal advisor and key partner to our Product, Engineering, and R&D teams, providing legal and regulatory compliance support from the initial stages of SaaS product development to global launch, helping to identify and proactively mitigate risks.
- Help educate and train internal business partners on legal and regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Other duties and assignments to support internal stakeholders and enhance and improve processes for execution of the company's strategies.

Requirements
- Excellent judgment, strong verbal and organizational skills, and the ability to balance pragmatic solutions with appropriate legal and regulatory risk management is expected.
- High degree of integrity, ethics and trust
- Light travel required for team and company meetings.
Nice to have
- Juris doctorate from an accredited law school
- admitted to at least one state bar in the U.S.
- Four plus (4+) years of relevant legal experience, including experience in an in-house product counsel role (preferably supporting a high-growth SaaS/technology company)
- proven track record of professional excellence.
- Strong technical understanding of SaaS platform products and the cybersecurity industry.
- Expertise in data privacy and protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, export control regulations, and other global frameworks.
- Familiarity with intellectual property law, open-source software licensing, and AI related regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.
