About the role
- Services include providing individual short-term counseling intervention, referrals for longer-term therapy, wellness/life-skills workshops, group counseling facilitation, crisis consultation, and crisis intervention/ management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other PCOM support services (i.e. off campus Student Assistance Programs).
- Collaborate with Student Affairs staff across all PCOM campuses to provide institution-wide initiatives and support.
- Provide support and guidance during campus crisis(s).
- Designs and implements innovative personal support programs.
- Work with the Office of Campus and Community Partnership to facilitate student support..
- Assists the assistant director with creating/developing and maintaining a social media presence for the Philadelphia campus.
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling or a related field (required)
- Assists students well being in highly competitive graduate and professional degree programs. with programming and counseling
Nice to have
- PhD or PsyD in counseling, psychology or related field (preferred)
- Three years counseling (required)
- Five years' experience working in college counseling (preferred)
- 2 years strong social media/ content creation experience (preferred)
Compensation
- The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting.
- Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
- $45,699 annually
