About the role

- This position is charged with directing the work of Campus Safety officers and other security personnel in a manner consistent with the environment of the college.
- The incumbent is charged with enforcing all college safety and security policies.
Nice to have
- Assist with training and evaluations of public safety officers to ensure optimum performance of assigned duties
- Report all serious incidents to the Director of Public Safety in a timely manner;
- Assist the director regarding policies and procedures relevant to security, safety, fire protection, planning, etc;
- Assist with the purchasing of uniforms, office supplies, cellphone, and radio purchases;
- Responds to and reports serious incidents on campus to the director 24/7;
- Report and input incident reports into the Maxient software data system;
- Assist in planning, coordinating and implementation of safety logistics plan for campus events such as orientation and commencement;
- Serve on college committees as requested by the Director and Vice President for Student Life;
