Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an Advanced Quality organization (Local & Global) which is self-sustainable through planning, strategic recruitment, employee feedback mechanisms, motivation, assessment and development with robust cross functional dialogue, training & coaching.
  • Support warranty and liability reduction initiatives within all projects during quote and product development process (PDP) phases (i.e. QRB, Warranty Waiver letters …)
  • Create/update and roll out existing and new PHINIA procedures that will improve our product and process development
  • Manage Knowledge Library (K-lib) and ensure that K-Pac assessments are performed on-time at each PDP gate
  • Develop, maintain, track Advanced Quality KPI & objectives and report monthly those to all concerned functions (APQP roadmaps, PPAP …)
  • Escalate as appropriate significant project issues that may impact PHINIA warranty liability and support roadblocks removals
  • Support change management in plant for all engineering changes
  • Manage Advanced Quality budgets (TBC)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in quality problem solving
  • Able to travel as required
  • Work is expected to be conducted in a manner that stresses the importance of preventing incidents and illnesses, including attending all required safety meetings and trainings.

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of experience as a Quality Manager in multi-national company, system module application in automotive industry is highly preferred

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our global optimization Quality team as an Advanced Quality Manager.
  • The purpose of this position is to ensure quality is built into the product and process during development, guaranteeing customer satisfaction, risk mitigation, and flawless industrialization.
  • This position will lead proactive quality engineering activities during our Enterprise Operation System (EOS) development phases, to ensure that a robust quality system has been built into the Product and Process as the product transitions into production.
