About the role
- Job Overview The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing data entry and incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities
- AEVEX uses agile and customized approaches to rapidly define, develop, and deliver specialized solutions for airborne special mission needs for the U.S. Government, partner nations, and commercial businesses.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
- Frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds Frequently required to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequently required repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and/or fingers

- Proficient computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry software.
- Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, including knowledge of shipping documentation.
- Familiarity with private sector Enterprise Requirements Planning systems.
- Ability to pass an annual DMV record check required to ensure compliance with company and regulatory driving standards.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues, vendors, and carriers.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
- Valid forklift operator certification
Nice to have
- Receives incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
- Prepares outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling items.
- Ensures proper packaging and documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Coordinates with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Operates a forklift to load and unload trucks, as well as move materials within the warehouse.
- Adheres to safety protocols and regulations while operating forklift and handling materials.
- Verifies and updates information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assists with data analysis and report generation as needed.
