About the role

  • We are currently seeking an experienced CPM Scheduler to join our growing Transportation & Infrastructure Division.
  • The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the scheduling/estimating aspects of our transportation infrastructure projects, including at Newark Liberty International Airport.
  • This role could also be responsible for supporting the preparation of construction/engineering cost estimates on various sized projects as well as other project work at the direction of the mcfa Project Controls Director.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Development and Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive design and/or construction schedules for various projects using Primavera P6 software.
  • These schedules will include all phases from design to completion.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software is required.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably in transportation infrastructure or airport projects.
  • Knowledge of cost estimating best practices.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and project management principles.
  • Experience working on highways, bridge, and transit projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Required:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple project assignments.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Preferred:

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • AACE International or PMI certifications (i.e. PSP, PMI-SP, PMP, etc.)
