About the role
- We are currently seeking an experienced CPM Scheduler to join our growing Transportation & Infrastructure Division.
- The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the scheduling/estimating aspects of our transportation infrastructure projects, including at Newark Liberty International Airport.
- This role could also be responsible for supporting the preparation of construction/engineering cost estimates on various sized projects as well as other project work at the direction of the mcfa Project Controls Director.
Responsibilities
- Schedule Development and Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive design and/or construction schedules for various projects using Primavera P6 software.
- These schedules will include all phases from design to completion.

Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software is required.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably in transportation infrastructure or airport projects.
- Knowledge of cost estimating best practices.
- Knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and project management principles.
- Experience working on highways, bridge, and transit projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Required:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple project assignments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Preferred:
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- AACE International or PMI certifications (i.e. PSP, PMI-SP, PMP, etc.)
