About the role
- The APM will also work with the marketing and management team to ensure that the apartments are effectively leased and the new resident is professionally moved in.
- Leasing The Assistant Property Manager shall assist the Property Manager with leasing the property.
- Financial The Assistant Property Manager will work with the Property Manager to achieve the property's financial goals and annual budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage renewals; track lease expirations, prepare lease expiration letters and renewal leases.
Requirements
- Alexandria, VA 22308 (Required)
- Lead by example Perform other duties as required.
- Must be able to walk apartments and grounds including steps.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and other legal issues affecting property management Minimum High School diploma Must have reliable transportation
Nice to have
- Yardi experience or computerized accounting experience, preferred At least 3-5 years property management experience.
Compensation
- Assist in meeting revenue goals, through maintaining or exceeding occupancy budgeted, ancillary income, market incentives, resident retention, and monitoring property's financial performance as it compares to the annual operating budget.
