About the role

  • In this role you will: · Oversee the production of accurate and timely financial information including reviewing and approving journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Assist with NI's financial investments, including cashflow forecasting, monitoring investment performance, and updating accounting and management reports. · Coordinate the annual external audit process for HQ.
  • You will also come with a minimum of 7 years accounting experience; and atleast 2 years in a management role with very strong people leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the consolidation of financial reporting across NI.
  • Coordinate all month-end and year-end cycles. · Responsible for filing of tax, regulatory documents, and other statutory filings.
  • Support country & regional office registrations, including corporate signing officers. · Assist in the development of policies and procedures.

  • About the role Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance, the Senior Manager, Corporate Finance leads the corporate finance function at NI's Headquarters, as well as provides analytical and technical support to the overall global finance unit.

Requirements

  • About you You will have a University degree in accounting, finance or business and completion of a recognized Canadian accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA).
  • Selected candidates must have current legal entitlement to work in Canada.
  • You will also come with a minimum of 7 years accounting experience
  • and atleast 2 years in a management role with very strong people leadership skills.
  • Sound technical and professional knowledge of finance and accounting, especially Canadian reporting standards.

Compensation
