Responsibilities

  • You maintain a positive, professional attitude along with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with both technical and non-technical individuals.

Requirements

  • You are located around DFW.
  • You have experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, controls and/or network systems.
  • You are able to precisely read and follow blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Up to 90% travel may be required for this position.

Nice to have

  • You have demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and repairing various systems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, controls, and network systems.
  • You are proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics with precision, ensuring accurate execution of machine installations and repairs.

Skills

  • Be on-site for machine deliveries to ensure equipment condition and proper placement.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, software and other equipment.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary + opportunities for overtime Starting salary for this position is $85,000+ depending on experience.

  • About the job: We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team and assist with the technical support, installation and repairs / technical service of CNC Machine Tools for our customers.
  • These machines include 2D and 3D Lasers, Press Brakes, Automatic Laser Welders, Punches, 3D Printers, Plasma Cutters, Plate Rolls, Automation/Material Handling systems and similar equipment.
  • After a thorough technical onboarding and training program, you will: Support the overall technical needs of our customers and sales team.
  • Provide customers with the details on facility requirements needed to successfully install machines they purchase and assist in the preparation of the installation site.
