About the role

  • GDIT is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator Principal to join our team.
  • The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $124,092.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting DoW and/or Federal Government contracts
  • Experience with contract negotiations, modifications, proposal support, and contract administration
  • Experience interpreting and apply contractual terms, FAR, and applicable agency supplements.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARs, and other agency supplements, as applicable.
  • Strong understanding of government contract administration principles and practices
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound business judgement

Nice to have

  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using contract management systems is preferred.

  • Advises program management on contractual requirements, obligations, risks, and business considerations
  • Coordinates contract awards, modifications, funding actions, and close-out activities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provides contractual guidance to program managers, finance procurement, pricing, legal, and business development organizations
  • Reviews customer correspondence and prepares contractual responses, notification, and other required documentation

  • Participates in customer meetings, negotiations, program reviews, and internal management briefings as required
  • Ensures contract actions are completed accurately and within established deadlines
  • Coordinates approval of negotiations, contracts, and subcontracts with appropriate management staff

Compensation

  • The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $124,092.
  • This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
  • Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
